The lounge at stella ave.
There’s something about being on a plane that’s always made me feel called to write. Something about being between places that makes my mind want to dream and imagine. So, I took this as a good opportunity to write my first piece. Over the past month+ I’ve been investing time into blogging and writing. There are a few things that really inspired me to start up a blog but the idea at the center of it all, was that I wanted a place where I could be myself. I want to share my stories, ideas. and experiences in a way that I never have before, which makes me excited and nervous all at the same time. I want this to be a hobby. A craft that I perfect over time. A place to create. A way to express myself. A place to be honest, to connect, to be inspired and to inspire.
THE LOUNGE at STELLA AVE. Imagine the feeling you get when you’re back with your girl friends after years. The excitement, the endless conversations that feed your soul, the laughter that makes your stomach hurt, the reminiscing on all your years together and the discussions around whats coming next for us. Thats what I imagine for this space. A place for the girls to be girls. A place for us to have juicy, intimate conversation, have the time of our lives, and be nothing but ourselves, always. As I settle into this chapter of being in a serious relationship and living with my partner, I CRAVE my girl time, let me tell you. I feel like it’s something I’ve craved since I moved to New York and no longer had my best friends all around me. Im hoping that this digital lounge creates a space for that. For us to connect, share our thoughts, and make lasting friendships with other like-minded women. The place where the girls go when we need to shoot the shit.
So what is Stella Ave? Stella Ave is a luxury travel studio. It is my business and my first baby. It’s something new and old at the same time. When the studio officially launches in March, I’ll share the story behind Stella, what the business is, the mission, but the connection, in short, is that The Lounge is a digital space that is an extension of Stella Ave, the luxury travel studio. My vision, is that the conversations that take place in the Lounge, will inspire the designs that are created in the studio.
